Efficient case management with a focus on service
With the need for a more advanced case management system that increases efficiency in the IT department and internally within the organisation, Herrljunga and Vårgårda municipalities chose Nilex.

Simplified communication throughout the municipality
Previously, Nilex had helped them streamline the delivery of customer-focused IT services. The system was used for Incident and Change Management, and in conjunction with Nilex NSP, they also implemented Problem Management.
With the inventory register and an online shop, they have now been able to further expand their management services within the municipalities.
Nilex’s digital case management has simplified both communication and case management. With the help of a fast and smooth digital flow in the self-service portal, all municipal operations can now follow their cases from registration to completion.

– Nilex is good at developing and implementing automation in its services. It is important for a municipality to be able to automate routine tasks and processes, as this saves time and resources. It allows us to focus more on improving the service we provide to our operations. The municipality’s IT equipment is registered in the inventory system, which makes it easier for head teachers and operations managers, for example, when they need to allocate the budget. The register generates an overview that helps them make sustainable and cost-effective decisions, says Anna.
"In addition to introducing and developing Nilex, we are working on many other digitisation initiatives in our municipalities. We are now introducing a project management model that makes it easier for municipal leaders to prioritise and make decisions. We also have several services under development, such as a brand new automated service for financial assistance, which will be launched soon. This will streamline administration and give social workers more time to focus on their core activities.
For our residents, we will launch the Road Subsidy service, which will be the first service to make automatic decisions. We are also working to develop more secure digital communication to protect personal data and other sensitive information. We are also in the process of procuring an e-archive, which is an important component of the municipalities’ digital ecosystem."
